⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you need an attorney, call Chris Hess. Period. I hired Chris Hess in Amarillo for a moving violation — a left-hand turn from the wrong lane. There was dash-cam video, so I wasn’t exactly walking into court with the easiest case in the world. Chris took it from there and got the entire thing dismissed. But honestly, the result is only part of why I’m giving him five stars. Chris is a former Marine Corps officer, and you can tell from the moment you meet him. He’s tough, direct, extremely knowledgeable, and doesn’t back down. He’s the kind of guy where, when you have a problem, you want him standing next to you, not the other side. At the same time, he’s a genuinely good person. He works with Wounded Warriors, and that tells you a lot about his character outside of his profession. I’m a truck driver, and when you’re dealing with a moving violation, your license and your livelihood are on the line. I needed somebody who was going to take it seriously and actually fight for me — and that’s exactly what Chris did. He’s hardcore when he needs to be, but he’s also respectful, honest, and actually cares about his clients. Chris Hess didn’t just represent me — he went to war for me. And he won. Chris is an amazing lawyer. I cold-called his office because he had a previous case that was very similar to my legal matters, and despite me living hundreds of miles away, he took the time to speak with me over the phone for over an hour about both the criminal and civil aspects of my situation. As a veteran myself, and with him being a Marine, I really felt like he pointed me in the right direction. What impressed me most was that he never charged me anything for his time.
