I had initially contacted Braid for a consultation concerning a property damage claim after a drunk driver crashed into me head-on. The other party's insurance company was being uncooperative so I decided to seek legal counsel. After being referred by a friend, I had decided to consult Braid.
Braid informed me that I would also be able to seek compensation for medical care, as I was suffering from some aches and pains from the accident.
Not too long after the initial consultation, Braid was able to resolve the property damage claim. Shortly after the end of my treatment, Braid was able to negotiate a generous settlement, probably much more than I would have gotten if I dealt with the insurance company myself.
He was communicative throughout the whole ordeal, and answered any and all questions I had. If I were to find myself in a similar situation in the future, I would call Braid.

Our daughter involved in a car accident. It was determined she was at fault. The insurance company took care of the repair. We thought it was done.
However, about 7 months later, we received letters from our insurance company notifying that the party has filed for personal injury (a law firm represented the claimant) and asked for a settlement in the amount of 3 times our policy would cover.

We had our meeting. Braid took time to explain to us what everything means and the possible outcomes. He drafted a letter for us to forward to our insurance company.
Our insurance company extended an offer to settle the claim within our policy limits and the offer was accepted by the claimant.
The claim and the file are closed.
