Alvin is a nice guy and Helpful at first. Does a good job until he gets the money. But don't ask him to do anything after that. It will take literally 20 emails and 10 phone calls of repeated messages over and over asking him to get something done. Eventually he will get it done with excuse after excuse on why he took so long to do it. If you have the time and patience to do this, by all means hire Alvin. But if you need stuff done quickly, perhaps look elsewhere.

Alvin Lee represented the buyers who proposed to purchase the assets, permits, and liquor license at my premises. The lists of the inventory and assets included with the sale were provided previously to the buyers . After the buyers clearly understood the terms and conditions of the sale ("as is" sale), they could have negotiated further if they were in disagreement. Instead, the buyers proceeded to have their attorney draft an agreement with new terms that were never agreed upon by both parties. The new draft was sent to my attorney two weeks later with all the changes that I had NOT agreed to; the terms were unreasonable, unfair and unilaterally favorable to the buyers. The changes made were unfair to me , the seller so my attorney had to review it and revise it to match the original agreement. Attorneys should work on negotiating fair terms for both parties, especially any terms that were agreed upon prior to their involvement. In this case the buyers' attorney tried to do whatever it took to either meet his clients' demands or maybe his own ideas; in any case they were unreasonable and unfair. Of course I, as the seller, couldn't agree. Instead of working out the deal that buyers and seller had agreed to, Alvin sent my attorney a hostile letter with false accusations and threatened to sue me for money (even resorting to lies and tricks). I felt that he had a bad attitude and his actions were unprofessional. This is surprising for someone with his degree and in his profession. If you look at both Yelp and Google reviews, this attorney has only 19 reviews and almost half were rated 1 or 2 stars which says a lot. Based on these reviews, who would want to hire an attorney that is unethical, unprofessional and cares about money over people, disregarding reputation , fairness and truth? I'd give 0 stars if I could and would not recommend his services based on my own personal experience and be careful working with him , Alvin Lee even indirectly to avoid running into a situation like mine.

I had hired Alvin Lee for an easement case in contra costa county. I urge everyone to please avoid using Mr Lee for any easement dispute case. I had to terminate my contract with him and hire a new attorney with “re-do” of all effort and wasted many thousands of dollars in his legal fees.

Alvin Lee helped my elderly mother with a complicated document she was struggling with. He was very patient and respectful with her and resolved her issue. I was impressed and would hire him again.

Made an appointment, after listening for his conversation with other clients behind the door (hearing every single word) for 30 minutes we left. Very disappointed not coming back or hiring, of course.
