My wife applied for an adjustment to her immigration status and for a green card after we got married. I cannot say enough positive things about this law firm. Young is a very sharp, knowledgeable, and thorough lawyer, yet also very kind, understanding, and compassionate. Her staff is also excellent- we worked with Amanda often and she was very professional and helpful as well.

Each step of the process from the government moved faster than we all anticipated, including the final (positive) results, and I know a large reason for that was how thorough our applications were due to the guidance we got from here. Young also attended our interview with the USCIS officer and was very helpful for that. She met with us beforehand to cover everything we would expect to come up, so that was very helpful in reducing the stress of the situation.

In summary- Young and her staff take what would normally feel like an impossibly complicated and overwhelming process and simplify it by guiding you every step of the way. I will always refer any and everyone to her office that needs any help with immigration matters. We will be working with her again when it comes time to apply for citizenship!

I literally can't imagine a better attorney than Young Ri. How is it possible to top an attorney who not only has mastery of the law but is fully attuned to its practical workings, carefully thinks through each step of every filing & never cuts corners, so that each document she prepares for each case is fully customized, is available & responsive 24/7 if necessary, and has genuine empathy for her clients? Young assisted our small business with an H-1B visa request that meant a lot to me, and I knew from the first meeting with Young that our case couldn't be in better hands. The day I dropped off my final papers at her office, she joked that she would say a blessing over the submission before mailing it, and by then I was not far from believing she actually has a magic touch. By the end of the months-long process, though I was delighted with the positive outcome, I was honestly sad that my work with Young had come to an end . . . she had made a grueling legal maze almost fun to get through, and I knew I was going to miss her late-night emails & reassuring phone calls. Years later, I still do!! She is one of those joyful people who actually love & take pride in their work -- words often said, but rarely lived. If you become her client, then lucky for you, her expert care will be laser-focused 100% on your case, which means your chances for success just got a whole lot better.

About 9 years after the above review, I have come back to add this 5-Star update:

I had the great privilege of continuing to work with Young after the initial H-1B case she submitted for our business was successful ... After two more successful H-1B extensions, the second of which was part of an employer-sponsored green card application that recently was granted to our candidate, I can only say that Young gets better & better the more you work with her. As much as I loved & admired her during our first H-1B petition nearly 10 years ago, I now have an even deeper respect for her consistency over years. Young's excellence in the practice of law & dedication to her clients cannot be overstated ... She is simply the best, and her clients are exceptionally fortunate.

p.s., I also must commend every member of Young’s team, over the years … Robert, Melissa, Pamela, Liza, and Amanda. Never did we have anything short of an outstanding experience. Young & her team manage their firm with the same care and high standards that they manage their cases.

My case is pretty hard, I would say that. I failed the interview once and then I was asked to provide evidence twice in my country in Asia. Without law office of Young Ah Ri, I couldn’t have been successful since they helped me even when it is not the office hours, they were there with me at nights when I needed.
