Mrs Rebecca was my attorney for a child custody case. She listened to my concerns, understood my heart and fought like hell for my children. Mrs Smith is one of the strongest, most caring, most balanced women I have ever met in my whole life, especially in Klamath county. Her compassion for what she does shows in the courtroom each and every time. I would trust Mrs. Rebecca Whitney Smith with anything court related! I will always remember the kindness her office has showed me, each and every single person was very compassionate understanding and welcoming. I still think about her kindness and STRENGTH till this day. She will forever be apart of my life, I would never choose anyone else to represent myself, or children.

Rebecca is an awful and wicked woman who will take your money and only do what is in her own interest. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, in my eyes she is a thief.

I am coming forward about this several years into the future and still to this day her lack of professionalism and selfishness still cause discomfort for myself and my family.

I was going through a separation with my then wife and we had a child. I loved my daughter with all my heart, but her mother moved somewhere I could not follow because I was enlisted. I hired Rebecca because of the word of a friend of a family member.

I spent almost all the money I had at that time on the retainer, which I recall to be $3500. I wanted to be deliberate and swift to try to get as much court ordered time with my daughter as possible. After accepting my money, I recieved a call from Rebecca. I remember one of the first things she said to me was "are you even ready to be a father?". Mind you, this is the first time I am speaking with this woman.

When they day of court rolls around, she shows up on her own time, and then calls a private meeting with the judge. She must have known her personally, because they briefly spoke and then her, the judge, and myself moved to a private room.

Rebecca and the judge sat across from me, together, and they instructed me that I would be paying full child support, with what I believe to be a snide and condescending attitude. Hinting that the whole reason I was there was to not have to pay child support.

They then went on to say I would recieve the basic Oregon visitation plan, and handed me a packet. No more no less. So tell me, why did I have to spend $3500 of my own money to be back at square one?

Rebecca left and I never heard from her again after that. She even slacked on my case with submitting the paperwork and her partner had to take over and finish the case.

This was one of the most disrespectful and egregious experiences I have ever had in my life. If you care about your family, your money, or your self respect I would stay away from this horrible practice.
