Nick Jonson took on a very difficult divorce and custody situation involving my two children. Before hiring him, I had made some mistakes and allowed things to slide for too long. I also had not been well represented initially, mainly my fault, which made an already painful situation even harder. My ex and the court seemed to do everything possible to limit my involvement in my children’s lives as they were growing up. Nick worked tirelessly to help me stay in their lives and continue fighting to have a relationship with them. In my case no one really looked at the facts, they just did the normal stereotype he’s a man she’s a woman. The woman is right. Sad but true. Judges really don’t get care and they get off on their own power trip. It’s sad but true. Anyway, Over time, my children came to understand that I never stopped trying to be there for them. Today, both are college graduates with great careers, and I am fortunate to be a meaningful part of their lives. I owe so much of that to Nick Jonson. He is an outstanding attorney, knowledgeable, determined, and compassionate but he may be an even better person. I will always be grateful for the work he did for my family.
