Michelle has helped my family a lot the past two years! She guided us through my son’s issue with his school and helped us communicate with them, even if they were being unreasonable or difficult.
She is very professional and knowledgable about education law. My family and I are very grateful for her help!

Michelle was a god send! I counted my lucky stars I found her just in time. This time last year, my 7th grade brother got himself into major trouble with his school. He went on discord and used the N word to refer to a classmate. The classmate took a screenshot of the messages and reported him. Just for that, the school suspended my brother for 5-days, pending an involuntary transfer to an alternative school (think of a school for troubled/violent students). It was literally the last week of school, before winter break, when all this happened. Most attorneys were on Christmas break, but not Michelle; thank God!!! With literally just 1 day before meeting with the district administrator, Michelle was able to work with me via phone to gather all the information she needed for the case. Given the short notice, Michelle was unable to attend the meeting with us in person, but she attended by phone and it made all the difference! All she said to the district and their attorney (who also joined by phone), was my brother was already punished enough and his actions did not warrant being transferred to an alternative school; she wanted to discuss how we can get him back to school ASAP. Literally just like that, the district agreed and drafted paperwork for us to sign so my brother could return to school that same day. Had it not been for Michelle and her hard work, we would have been drowned in stress. Thank you Michelle, for everything you did for us!

PS, the administrator later told me he really liked Michelle because unlike other attorneys, she wanted to have a conversation, rather than laying down the law and debating it. I believe that was her magic!
