I had an extremely disappointing experience with Melanie Marmer and her legal aid team. Throughout my domestic violence case involving my son, communication was severely lacking. Important court dates and options for a virtual appearance were not communicated in a timely manner. This lack of information almost put me at risk of a bench warrant and caused delays in rescheduling the court date. The interns in her office also provided incorrect and misleading information, which further contributed to the confusion and delays. Overall, the lack of professionalism and clarity caused significant stress and frustration, and I am deeply disappointed with the service I received.
