Law Office of Mark Nicholson

I had a very disappointing experience with attorney Mark Nicholson’s office.

I scheduled a phone consultation and had to wait one full month for the appointment. My matter was time-sensitive and involved alleged civil rights violations, with a statute of limitations deadline. One hour before the scheduled phone call, I received a text message stating that he does not specialize in “education law,” and the call was cancelled.

That was extremely frustrating because my concern was not simply an “education law” issue — it involved civil rights violations. Waiting until one hour before a scheduled consultation, after I had already waited a month, was unprofessional and careless, especially when legal deadlines are involved.

I also was never able to speak with him directly. When I tried to make a pre-payment, I was told someone would call me back, but nobody did.

People seeking legal help are often under stress, deadlines, and serious pressure. In my opinion, this office did not handle my situation with the urgency, communication, or professionalism that a client deserves. I would not recommend this attorney to someone with a time-sensitive civil rights matter.

I highly recommend the Law Office of Mark Nicholson. Audrey Lunsford helped my son tremendously and I cannot say enough good things about her! She was very attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the sensitive situation. I was very nervous, but she took the time to explain the entire process very clearly and went above and beyond to make sure my questions and concerns were addressed. We are so grateful for all of her hard work as well as the entire office they provided throughout the process. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Highly recommend!!!
