I will recommend this lawyer to anyone in my experience working with him. I was very impressed with his cordial manners and understanding of the process. I must say he is a man with a great heart and rare to find nowadays.

Consumer Warning Regarding Closing Representation – Law Office of John Giorgi

I am writing this letter as a consumer warning based on my personal experience as a recent home seller who was referred to the Law Office of John Giorgi to represent me as my closing attorney.

While the representation initially appeared promising, that impression quickly deteriorated. At the beginning of the process, Mr. Giorgi seemed engaged and competent. Unfortunately, over time he became largely inaccessible and unresponsive. Emails and phone calls routinely went unanswered, leaving me without updates or guidance during a major financial transaction.

What was supposed to be a straightforward 30-day closing ultimately stretched to more than 90 days. I later learned that the delay occurred because the buyers purchased a vehicle after attorney review, which negatively impacted their ability to obtain financing. This was critical information that directly affected my sale—and yet it was never disclosed to me by my attorney.

As the delays mounted, Mr. Giorgi stopped responding to my communications entirely. I was left uninformed and frustrated, with no explanation as to why my closing was stalled or what was being done to protect my interests as the seller. It was only after upper management from the brokerage company representing me became involved that my attorney suddenly became responsive.

In my opinion, the only consistently positive aspect of this practice was the paralegal, who was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the ordeal. Unfortunately, that level of service did not extend to the attorney responsible for representing me.

Based on my experience, I strongly caution buyers and sellers alike to beware of this firm. A lack of communication, transparency, and advocacy during a real estate transaction can have serious financial and emotional consequences. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a closing attorney who will communicate clearly, act proactively, and truly represent your interests.

I share this anecdotal experience so that other consumers can make an informed decision and avoid the frustration and uncertainty I endured.

The ONLY reason there is no contract is because the Court saw the deceit and ruled the property would not sell for $200K..who is responsible for this deception ?

"Show me a contract for $200000. I'd like to see that. I was not the Estate Executrix nor the lawyer for the sale. Sorry you felt the need to lash out at someone. Sorry it was misapplied towards me. Sounds like a bitter family squabble".

A firm's client, as Estate Executrix, attempted to sell Estate property to herself for $200K..thankfully the Court intervened and prevented this fraudulent/deceitful transaction while selling the property for $400K
