The only thing I would’ve changed about the representation by your firm, is that I had found you sooner. Had I not been sitting at the Attleboro Police Department when Mr. Grasso was there picking up belongings for another client, I would’ve never known about your firm. The day he met me I was in the process of handing my daughter off to her mom… I chose not to get into the details while in front of my daughter, the timing of her mom picking her up and Mr. Grasso waiting for his client‘s belongings concluded at the same time.

John witnessed the pain that I was in as I said goodbye to my daughter that day… he unselfishly took 15 to 20 minutes out of his day to review some of the concerns I had about my current attorney. I immediately had a sense of respect and understanding of his expertise as an attorney and humbleness as a father, which, at that time, was exactly what I needed. I interviewed four other attorneys, after making the decision to terminate my original criminal lawyer. The other attorneys I met with treated me as if I was a paycheck and a number… I also felt that they told me what I wanted to hear and not what I needed to hear. From the beginning, John told me you may not always like what I tell you, but I will respond and make sure you understand where my response is coming from. He was a man of his word, I never waited for a response or a solution. It was to no surprise that after doing some research, Mr. Grasso was highly acknowledged and respected for his success in the courtroom.

The day I met Mr. Pensa at Attleboro District Courthouse, he immediately gave my family and I a sense of comfort that he was going to do everything in his power to keep me out of jail. As each of you saw every step of the way every obstacle possible was put in my path, regardless of the truth. Mr. Pensa always allowed me to express my thoughts, frustrations, and concerns… and my overall disbelief in how the system could be this far off. He always reminded me to keep my eye on the big picture and not allow my emotions to focus on what I felt as though should happen. It didn’t matter what was true, or what could be proved on my behalf, because of the position I was put in originally, I had no credibility. My world, as I knew it had been dismantled and burnt to the ground… Mr. Pensa continued to instill in me that he had not given up, and neither could I. When it came time to settle these cases, and admit to things, I knew we’re not true, I once again was reminded to look at the big picture. This was the only option that would keep me from being incarcerated and with my daughter for Christmas. Mr. Pensa displayed his level of commitment to me after learning that the ADA intended on revoking my bail, he reached out to multiple respected peers, ensuring that the plan he intended for me to follow was the best possible one. Mr. Pensa, on a regular basis, exhibited empathy towards me and my position throughout the entire process. Every piece of advice which she gave me that day put me in the best position I could be in to keep me out of jail. He coached me every step of the way, he masterfully provided me with the tools I needed to get me to the finish line. I can't thank "JP" enough!

I’m not the most religious person in the world, but I will say somebody put Mr. Grasso at the Attleboro police station that day and somebody made it that Mr. Pensa was my main representation in court and throughout this brutal experience.
