I had a very unpleasant experience working with Jennifer. She either likes you as a client or she doesn’t. She took $15,000-$20,000 from me and I have nothing to show for it. She did not advocate for me at all in court and barely said a word on my behalf. Then she abruptly left in the middle of my hearing because “she had another case”. She never explained this to me beforehand. She just left. She would avoid interacting with myself and my mom. All she cares about is money, not her clients. I sincerely urge you to choose a different attorney, if looking for one around the Santa Cruz area. And she will probably try to defend herself by ripping apart this review because her ego is so big. But I don’t care. People need to know that she is horrible representation. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER hire her. Literally the only nice thing about that office is the receptionist. She was great.

Jennifer and her team of Yazmin and Trisha have been outstanding in getting me through my divorce successfully against my ex and her lawyer. She was patient and kind, thorough and always on my side. She not only got the best settlement for me, but during the actual divorce proceedings made sure that I wasn't walked all over by my ex's lawyer. One example was during the meetings with the judge my ex tried to get me to pay for her lawyer 100% and Jenn successfully argued that my ex should pay for her own lawyer. I recommend Jennifer McCabe wholeheartedly.

The level of appreciation I have for Jenn McCabe and her team of associates is hard to put into words. The court system could really be described as a foreign land. One that is unfamiliar and structured in such a way that it’s almost impossible to navigate on your own. So if you find yourself having to enter into this system with a deeply emotional or traumatic situation on hand the pressure to have a wider perspective on how that system works is essential! That’s where Jenn McCabe came in and completely changed the trajectory of my case the moment she took it on. She goes above and beyond to do whatever she needs to do to give you the best fighting chance in court. Before I had Jenn I had so much anxiety entering the court room. After having her as my advocate she represented me in court better then I could have ever done and I finally got the justice I deserved. This brought down my anxiety and kept me safe knowing someone else I could trust was representing me and presenting my case the best way possible. I’ve had an ongoing custody battle for over 2 years now and after hiring Jenn and her team I was able to attain full custody of my son and child support. Bottom line if you’re looking for a highly competent, experienced and hardworking lawyer you can be assured that Jenn will meet all your expectations and more. I am beyond grateful for her guidance and level of professionalism. She’s the real deal and very pleasant to work with, down to earth and passionate in what she does. All my gratitude to Jenn and her team again I couldn’t have done it without them!

Ms McCabe is hands down the best lawyer around. She immediately made me feel at ease, discussed all options and made sure I understood everything. I feel like she went above and beyond for me, however I somehow suspect she makes all her clients feel that way. I recommend her to everyone.
