an Maiden demonstrates a lack of professionalism and impartiality in her role as minor’s counsel. She comes across as snippy and dismissive toward parents, and she often appears biased depending on which parent she personally favors at the moment rather than staying neutral. She fails to consider relevant evidence, which undermines her ability to truly advocate for the child’s best interests. In addition, she lacks transparency and does not communicate effectively with the parties. She is late in filing her reports, and when they are filed, they are often incomplete, inaccurate, or not updated to reflect the child’s current situation. She also does not respond in a timely manner to reasonable communication attempts, which creates unnecessary stress and delays in the process. Altogether, her conduct does not reflect the ethical standards expected of minor’s counsel, and it raises serious concerns about her ability to fulfill her role responsibly and in the child’s best interest.
