I feel that I was very fortunate to have found such an outstanding attorney as Greg Olson! I was in a situation during the pandemic that I never thought I would be in given that I had very recently signed a one year lease on the house I was living in, and found out that my landlord had actually decided to sell the house, and wanted the house vacated within 60 days! I was in a state of shock and felt fearful when I learned this, and of course, questioned the legality of such a move on the landlord's part given what I thought was a binding legal document. I then called five attorneys in San Diego I found online and left a detailed message regarding my situation with each one. Out of the five, only two responded, and of the two, Greg was the first to respond, and projected a greater air of confidence that my situation could be dealt with successfully and relatively quickly.
I therefore ended up going with Greg before even looking at his website or knowing his fees. When I looked at his website and his impressive list of professional credentials and areas of expertise, I felt like I had found a "high-powered" attorney, but also felt trepidation at the thought of how high his legal fees might be! Little did I know at the time that although his fees were at the standard rate for a high quality attorney, Greg was exceptionally fair in the amount he actually charged me for a number important legal services--first and foremost being a very well thought out letter to the owner of my leased house detailing all the relevant aspects of my case and the legal consequences (financial damages) the owner would experience if he continued to pursue his attempt to break the lease and force me to vacate the property within 60 days! Greg also followed up his excellent letter to the owner, and all parties concerned (property manager, realtors), and consulted with me at length on the phone and with email through the course of this process. The end result of all Greg's efforts meant that my one year lease would stay in force, with all existing terms, and that I would not have to vacate until the end of my tenancy--which was exactly what I wanted.
Through this entire process I was struck by how effective Greg was at completely turning my situation around to my advantage, how accessible he was in addressing my concerns, how easy he was to talk to, and what excellent advice/counsel he provided. And, later on, when he sent me my invoice for his services, I saw how extremely fair he was in charging me for them, with the amount being far less than I imagined it would be given everything he had done. I therefore must highly recommend Greg as an attorney who will undoubtedly exceed your expectations, and give you the greatest opportunity to prevail in your legal matter, while at the same time being very fair in the amount he charges for his excellent services.
