I’d like to share a little of my experience with Frank and his paralegal. I went to him in December with a request to review the living trust and documents. I also had a dispute with a life insurance claim in which I was unable to handle alone and needed legal advice. I was told form the paralegal that it would be a free consultation and if he needed to do more he would let me know.
I basically told him my situation and he seemed to be knowledgeable of this area and genuine. I trusted him and because this is a very difficult and sensitive time for me considering the death of my mother and the situation surrounding that. I was vulnerable. After sharing my situation he immediately asked me for $400. He said he needed that to review the trust and can’t give any information until I pay that fee. He also said with that he was going to send the life insurance the appropriate documents needed to review the file. So I didn’t hesitate and agreed.

Weeks went by with no follow up from him or his staff. I was the one having to chase this man to get a responses. This is a time sensitive matter due to the life ins payment pending but he was in Hawaii! He could’ve at least been more communicative of the time frame and expectations of what’s to come. We are going into the 4 month with no progress and still no outcome. I feel this man had no interest in helping me. He called me back once or twice with just limited basic info. Still nothing form the insurance and the whole point was for him to send that and get the requested file and follow up with my options. He said he was going to call me back and never did. I feel he could’ve been more effective with communicating and been more timely. That doesn’t take 4 months.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience with him and I don’t think this is his area and wish he would’ve told me that from the beginning instead of wasting my time with no outcome!
