I can’t begin to say enough about Arthur Lin and his excellence as an attorney. For 7 years Mr. Lin represented my son as his court appointed counsel. During that time, and during an ugly custody dispute, Mr. Lin focused only on his client. The parents’ needs were met based only on what the law permitted and what he felt was best for the child, his client. Don’t get me wrong, he was thoughtful of the parents, even when their actions and behaviors weren’t always deserving of it. He just always put the child first. Though I did not always agree with Mr. Lin’s decisions, he never failed to do what was best for my son and was compassionate and caring with him in all their interactions. He is a parent himself and knows the importance of a healthy relationship between a child and both parents. He strove to include a fair and healthy custody balance between the parents until he realized that it wasn't realistic or even safe. When our case was at its most turbulent and caustic, Mr. Lin exhibited his dedication to his client by standing at his side even under the fire of libel attacks against his practice made by his client’s mother who eventually lost custody and had a permanent restraining order placed against her that was maintained even after she brought it to the Appellate Court. Mr. Lin could have stepped away or provided the bare minimum defense for my son in order to protect his own reputation from the slanderous onslaught of social media lies that took forever to recede and were created by an abuser full of vengeance, instead, Arthur Lin went above a beyond as he would for any child in need to represent them to the best of his ability with no concern for his self, reputation, or prestige… but then I wouldn’t expect anything less from someone I found to be one of the few legal counsels in the business who had the respect of most all of his peers and countless professionals in the many fields orbiting family law. This is not an exaggeration. I researched him through numerous other professionals. He is truly one of a kind. For an example of the social media attacks Mr. Lin has been under, there is a one-star Google review posted on this page by the individual who was deemed such a danger to her child that she has a permanent (lifelong) restraining order on her. She has threatened to file complaints with the bar about Mr. Lin and falsely claims him to be dangerous on multiple media platforms. The entire time, Arthur Lin weathered the storm of lies until the truth of the mother’s hidden abuses came out and Mr. Lin rescued his client, my son, from her. I hope your case is nothing to the extreme as ours was, but if it is, Arthur Lin is the attorney you want on your side. And if he is not on your side, you surely need to hope he isn’t your opposing counsel.

Arthur was easy to work with. He fought for my best interest even when I wouldn't advocate for myself. Years later, I am most appreciative for his counsel. He's professional and easy to talk to.
