It's difficult to find an attorney willing to take a case against an HOA. Andrew Cantor not only represented us against our homeowners association; he helped us reach a satisfying, impactful settlement, and he's doing the same for at least one colleague we referred to him, who's experiencing HOA troubles as well. Andrew provides a very personable service and is very responsive. I've hired Andrew at the end of 2022 to help me with a breach of contract issue. I lent money to an acquaintance whom I was helping with business development. The money was used to buy equipment. It was a substantial sum. We didn't have a written contract. At first this person was paying me back and paid back almost half of the amount owed. But at some point - as it happens - the enthusiasm to pay me back was gone. I tried to get a hold of the person multiple times. The person sent me a couple of extremely rude messages, but no money. The amount he owed me was substantially more than small claims court would handle. I spent hours online searching which type of attorney could help with this situation. I've reached out to several attorneys to consult about my situation and to at least find out if I have a case, given that there is no written contract. Andrew responded almost immediately. No one else did. Andrew reviewed the information I sent him and suggested to write a letter of demand to the other party. Which somewhat helped. The other party at least reached out to Andrew. Though it didn't prompted him to return the money owed. Then Andrew suggested to write a letter for intend to litigate. And that did the trick. I'm happy to report that I received my money back and I fully credit Andrew for playing a major part in my case. It was a real pleasure to work with him as it felt like I have a friend, who is helping me and not just a hired lawyer that I've never met. I want to emphasize again how personable Andrew is, which definitely helps in sensitive situations.
