Reception asked no questions, stated they couldn’t help me until later no time frame given and stated $350 for 1/2 hour consultation. I understand that price for full hour but how much info can they provide you in 1/2 hour of consultation??? Clearly not in the business to help families, only make money. As quick as they are to mention the price is as quick service you get. 👎

We retained Amy Lass (then at Griffith, Young & Lass) to mediate our divorce. In my experience the engagement didn't deliver. The fee agreement was confusing, I had ongoing concerns about scope and professionalism, and after months of mediation we hadn't made real progress on the core issues. I ultimately had to hire my own attorney to actually move things forward. I wouldn't recommend her for a complex or high-conflict situation, and would urge anyone considering her to get every fee term in writing and clearly explained up front.
