I had a son that was 26 years old, Autistic, and started doing drugs. He got into a lot of trouble and spent about 9 months in the County Jail. He then got sentenced to 3 months at Wasco State soon. After being transferred to the Prison, he died 18 days later. It took me almost a whole year to find an attorney to take his case. When I finally found an attorney, he sent out the necessary letters requesting the necessary things that were required to figure out how he died. The autopsy said he had an enlarged spleen, an enlarged liver, and arrhythmia. This was a sudden and unexpected death. The attorney that decided to help me, sent out a few letters, and then asked me to come up with $10,000 to Petition the Court against the County. I did not have that kind of money, and when the attorney found that out, he terminated our agreement. So I was in the middle of not having any follow up with all the letters he sent out, and absolutely no help whatsoever. So I started looking for another attorney. Alina Landsover responded to me directly. She told me in her own words, she just wanted to help me. So I gathered up all the previous attorneys files, and notes, and letters, and sent everything to her. She called me, and set up a. Appt. 4 days later. When she finally called me, she told me nothing about her experience with deaths of prison inmates, she immediately did a 3 way call with some stranger attorney that I could barely hear his name. He got on the phone, started asking a couple questions, and after a minute or two, I realized he had not look over all the paperwork I provided, and had no idea of the case. Neither Alina, or this random person, that was called in, even though they both had ample time to prepare for this case, had actually no idea at all, what this case was actually about. It truly was the blind leading the blind. I have never seen attorneys be so unprepared. I expected to have some medical records to be produced, so I could submit them to these attorneys. Unfortunately the Prison and the County, submitted superficial documents instead. When I tried to communicate with Alina Landover of Palm Springs, and Beverly hills, she did not respond to me In anyway. I reached out 3 times to her, but she did not answer me . This is the person, that called me directly, usually it would never be an attorney, but limited to a paralegal or legal assistant, but this attorney called me directly, hungry and eager to help me. When she got the opportunity, she was very unprepared, inexperienced, and just left me high and dry, wasting more of the time, she knew did not have left. This attorney is not a public servant in any way. I have never seen an attorney act in this way, as I have worked in a different kind of lawfirm myself for several years. This is not an attorney that is prepared, experienced, or has integrity to truly help others.
