Highly recommend if you need a family law attorney. Kevin Lake and his team got us the results we needed when it seemed that all hope was lost. Mr. Lake and his paralegal Aimee were always a phone call or email away and never failed to provide sound legal advice. They are results driven and so very knowledgeable. I would not recommend Kevin Lake or Kristen Dunn. My experience with their representation was extremely disappointing, stressful, and costly. Throughout my case, I felt pressured into accepting a settlement that I did not believe was in my best interest. I repeatedly expressed my concerns, but I did not feel that my voice was being heard or that my wishes were being respected. I hired attorneys to protect my interests, provide sound legal advice, and advocate for me. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received that level of representation. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I ultimately settled on terms that I felt were no better than what I had originally proposed, despite the significant legal fees I incurred. I also had serious concerns about the communication, handling of my case, and the way I was treated as a client. Hiring an attorney requires trust, especially when you are dealing with an already difficult situation. Instead of feeling supported and protected, I felt pressured, dismissed, and financially drained. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering hiring Kevin Lake or Kristen Dunn to carefully evaluate their options, ask detailed questions about fees, and make sure their concerns and wishes will be respected throughout the process.
