As a caregiver of a woman with special needs, I will forever remain astonished by the irony of this firm charging hundreds of thousands to protect the Trustee/client from denying basic needs to the beneficiary. Once the Trustee takes hold, there's little recourse. This firm IS about the money. It's all about protecting the Trustee and the legal interests, not the beneficiary. That said, they DO overcharge. They DO double-bill (not necessarily intentional, but due to lack of communication). Money first, everything else much later.

I have worked with Lagerlof on two separate occasions. The first time was with V. Terzian on estate-related matters. Given my positive experience working with her and her team, I chose to engage the firm again when my mother needed help with trust and elder law issues.
