Daniel Kurland has been a lifesaver in my child custody case. Before I had him, I felt like my world was crashing down, and I was going to lose custody. I fired two lawyers before him, They were terrible. Daniel has been there for me the whole time Since he stepped in, and has fought as hard as I have fought to get my daughter back. He makes me feel heard. I feel like I’m in good hands now so my anxiety is not racing. You can tell he really cares about his clients and the purpose He is doing the work for. You don’t find too many lawyers that the court puts in to represent you stick up for you the way he has for me as I mentioned before. I felt very lost before he stepped in. Me and Daniel are now so close to Having my daughter reunified. Sometimes I could be hard to handle And he gets the heat for what the other people do And even when I feel like I cross the line, Daniel don’t disrespect me and he tells me very nicely that it is OK and we’ll get through it. he never gets mad at me for him getting the heat of other people. When important things come up Daniel reminds me and gets back to me very quickly. I think he is amazing at what he does And he saved my case. Daniel deserves his flowers so that’s why I am writing this review. I would recommend Daniel to anybody because he genuinely cares even though he’s super busy! The other lawyers would not reply or even give me the time of day and I can’t say the Same here. If I could give Daniel more than a good review, I definitely would Because when I say, I was losing my custody case, I was truly losing it before he came into my life. Daniel has got me overnights and the next step is reunification. Thank you AGIAN !!

He genuinely cares about his clients

I had been a long-time client of Herbert R. Weiman. Following his death, I had real estate matters which needed attending to. I did not know Dan Kurland at all. I only knew he was a partner of Herb Weiman's. Mr. Weiman had served me well with 20 years of service. Always keeping me informed of the progress of my legal matter. I figured since Dan Kurland was a partner, I would let him handle my real estate matters.

There were two residential properties involved. I retained the services of Mr. Kurland for one. Then one month later retained the services of Mr. Kurland for the other. Both required the recording of updated deeds. I live in Maryland. The main reason I wanted an attorney to handle these real estate transactions for me was to save myself the time & travel required to take care of them myself. After all, it is why most people hire lawyers. To save themselves leg work.

For the first property, more steps were involved. However, I had no idea it would end up being a 10-month process. I had given Dan Kurland his retainer fee up front. I had also given him the governmental filing fees necessary.

Ten months after my retaining Dan Kurland for the first property, he was texting me to say since the matter was as complicated for him as it had become, he recommended I "retain someone who specialized in this area." He also said he thought he should at least keep some of the money for the work he tried to do on the properties. That was six month ago. A full six months following the ten months since he & I began the process. As of this writing, I have not heard anything more from Mr. Kurland. He had suggested he keep some of the money. My guess is that he decided to keep all of it as if he actually had completed the transactions I hired him to do. That as well as the several hundred dollars in filing fees I gave him. I have not seen any of it back.

As far as his recommendation that I hire someone else who specialized in the type of real estate transaction I wanted done, I ignored his advice. Instead, I did it myself. It took a few months. I had to take some time off work & it required me to travel back & forth from Maryland to Philadelphia. But the actual process itself was not rocket science. I simply went to city hall in Philadelphia to find out what steps were needed in order to get the deeds properly recorded. They told me what the steps were. I followed them & got it done. I did have to pay again the governmental filing fees which I had given Dan money for before. In the end, I did what an attorney who was supposedly experienced in a particular field told me he was unable to do. And I'm not even a lawyer.

Less steps were necessary in recording the updated deed on the second property. I got this one finished one week after completing the first one. Dan Kurland never explained why he could not do this one either.

I would highly recommend Mr. Daniel Kurland to anyone looking for someone who takes your money & does absolutely nothing.

Dan took the time to meet with me about my issues and listened to all of my concerns. My problems had been festering and unfortunately, I needed a lawyer. Then, he offered his sound advice and guided me through the entire process. He really put my mind at ease and made sure that I was properly represented. Thanks very much!
