Fees are extremely high compared to other offices. They are difficult to get answers from . Received bills they did not take care of...very unprofessional

Do not go to Kirkpatrick and associates! They do not care about their clients and have no respect for them as people or their time. The staff on the phone were uncaring and dismissive. Scheduling was a nightmare. I signed up for an appointment online, filled out intial paperwork and blocked off that time in my schedule. Then I was then notified that time was no longer available and so I rescheduled and was not told about any paperwork I needed to fill out nor how long the consult would last. When we showed up at the appointment we were told the information we filled out online would not be in their system and we had to fill out a large stack of indepth paperwork.

I showed up to my appointment today to waste 2 hours of my time. I had to fill these incredibly detailed papers in, at times, a loud and stressful waiting room ( many people, some on their phones). After waiting almost two hours I notified the desk person I would need to leave in 45min to pick up my kids, the person grimaced and told me that wasn't going to happen. The person then rescheduled me for an appointment tomorrow.

After I was out of the office I decided to call and clarify that I would be able to make it to work after my appointment tomorrow. The woman on the phone was horrible, I asked her to confirm whether the appointment would be under 3 hours. I told her I could not be late to work or miss a shift. She told me she couldn’t say how long it would take. I told her I had to get to work and the appointment could not last more than 3 hours. She did not offer to get me another appointment or to make a note to make sure I was seen quickly or give me any estimate on time, but instead she told me if I wanted she could cancel my appointment for me. Her tone and unwillingness to help after I had wasted two hours of my day and already moved my schedule around multiple times for her firm that I was considering hiring is unbelievable.

I am already in one of the hardest moments of my life which is why I am going to a bankruptcy firm. No one deserves to be treated like this. This firm doesn't care about its clients who are already struggling.
