Most horrible experience i ever had with an attorney office. This office was the one chosen by my realtor to do the closing on my house but not the attorney that did the documents for closing. I had to jump through hoops for that but thats a different story! Anyway I forgot to put my ssn on the 1099 form. All the checks got distributed but mine. I only found this out because the lying bottom feeder that my realtor found for me to do the documents told me he had my check and would mail it Monday so Tuesday I contacted his office and asked for a tracking number. Got a call and was asked for a ssn. Not check has been mail. Called the closing attorney and yep they where holding my check hostage because of a ssn. The house closed on Friday and if I would have not reached out to anybody I would still be wondering about my check. Then the closing attorney was told I refused to give my ssn. I turn my paperwork into my attorney and nothing was every said. I ask how said that and was told it was not important! So I got angry and yelled at them. Gave them the ssn and hung up. Called today to get a tracking number for my almost 70,000 check and was told it was just put in the regular everyday mail! How is that for professionalism!? I would not recommend this firm!
