Starting from the initial consultation, it was evident that the Katz Melinger team truly cares. When I first spoke with them, I wasn't sure what I needed - all I knew was my role had been impacted by budget cuts, HR had verbally given me a bunch of details, and I didn't know what I should (or shouldn't) be worried about. Ken helped me understand what I might need, asking me questions to get a better grasp on my situation and concerns before providing me with initial insights and potential next steps. He was honest, transparent, and didn't pressure me to make any immediate decisions. Nicole made the process with my former employer so much less stressful. She handled negotiations with them regarding my severance agreement and would follow up with them regularly. She made sure I was comfortable with the agreement and went back to my former employer when I had any questions or concerns. While it was nerve-wracking waiting for my former employer to countersign, she continued to follow up diligently to make sure everything was sorted between Legal and HR and ensured I was paid what was agreed. Overall, Katz Melinger exceeded my expectations. I went in thinking that I just needed someone to provide an unbiased review of the agreement and ensure I wasn't getting the wool pulled over my eyes. I was met with professionals who worked diligently to get me the best result, advocated for me when things didn't feel right, and ensured that my former employer met all the terms they agreed to.

Katz Melinger is hands down one of the BEST to ever do it! While there were delays in my case, it had NOTHING to do with the attorneys! They’re on their game and know exactly what they’re doing! I myself work for the court system so I know how slow processes can move inside of this system! But wait there’s more, alongside these attorneys are paralegals and legal assistants that are TOP notch! I will personally say Isalice is by FAR the best paralegal I have ever worked with and I can’t thank her enough! Communication is top tier, she is everything!
