It is interesting that this forum is the one this lawyer chooses to actually respond to a client's messages. Also, interesting that you are including details about your clients on this forum.
I see that you'd like people reading this review to know that this client was over the speed limit, so it's his fault anyway right? However, isn't that what you get paid for? To help navigate the best way to negate these situations?
Quite frankly, this is the quickest my husband has received a response from you. Yes, he was completely over the speed limit 3 years ago, but he did not have ANY points prior, and so yes, he came to YOU for advice on thee best way to have those points removed. It was relayed to YOU both by my husband and his superintendent that you had a call with, that those points needed to he removed, or there would be certain consequences. You assured him that pleading guilty and paying the fine are of no real consequence because, and I quote because I heard him on the speaker with my husband, that the points would be suspended. My husband reiterated that the points needed to fall off because his driving privileges for his company would be an issue. Lawyer reassures him those points would be suspended. Lo and behold, they were not. When you finally did answer the phone that day, you told us not to call you on the cell number you had given us (you were called twice) that the points were SUPPOSED to have not mattered because they were suspended and that at least you had been able to save his driver's license. I see. Not one time as part of this paid agreement did you understand what was fully at stake.
After we were told that he could not work for a year in that particular role, you seem to have it in your mind that this is fine because he was over the speed limit anyway!! We don't feel bad about this. I do, however, feel bad I didn't see your previous reviews because I would have pointed my husband to a completely different lawyer before he started this process.
You stated he has another role lined up as though it's all fine. He does not have another role lined up within his organization. It could take quite a while for another role to open up. If something even does become available, there are others ahead of him. You knew exactly what would happen, and you did not do what you were paid for.
Good for you though - you still got paid for a few minutes of your time and didn't have to do much. Bravo.

I found out the hard way that SETH KATZ is not a good lawyer. Please Do not let this man represent you in court.
The first red flag I should have paid attention to is that he never answers the phone.
On the answering machine you get as soon as you call his office, he asks you whether you're a new or existing client.
If you're a new client he will call you back because this is a chance to get your money.
If you're an existing client there’s no need for him to call you back because most likely you paid him already. And trust me, he does not answer the phone or call back. I once called this guy 6 times before I resorted to email.
Seth Katz pleaded guilty on my behalf, but before this, he was informed that a conviction with too many points would disqualify me from being able to work, put food on my table, and pay bills. Seth Katz told me that if I plead guilty, the points would not be on my record. That was not the case. I was misled. All He had to do was ask to postpone the court date or ask for a 2 point reduction. This man did neither of the two.
After the case, he told me to keep quiet about the conviction. Just don't tell anyone. Like, my job wasn't going to find out anyway.
So now I am unemployed from a job I've worked at for 15 years because Seth Katz did not listen to what needed to be done.
And to make matters worse. I asked for legal advice about my case via voicemail text message and email, and he refuses to answer!
So now I am reaching out to other lawyers to see if I can get an appeal.
One of the lawyers I spoke with said that they know of Seth katz and he is not a good lawyer. I agree.
Seth Kats is a bad lawyer and he doesn't care about anything but money. Stay far away from this guy as possible.
