Very unethical. I would not hire her again. Katie ignored me for over 10 days twice during the case ( unethical in law terms). She would get mad when I asked simple questions and wouldn't answer my phone calls just angry text messages stating she is having personal problems and couldn't talk to me it happened twice. I got rid of a lawyer because she was losing all my paperwork and the judge was not happy with them including he was charging me for things he did not do. Katie she said there are numbers to call to report him. When I later asked her for those numbers she refused to give them to me because she still worked with him. It's was weird she was very secretive about it. There were things missed in the divorce agreement and she tried to charge a retainer for a new case I know makes no sense. By the end of the day she had to go and I had to represent myself and guess what because of the details she missed and I found I closed out my case myself and got more money. She did complain to me about contacting her on her website which is down now. I pray she can workout her her personal issues and grow from this as she has a lot to learn, but anything is possible.

I am utterly devastated and profoundly disappointed with the appalling handling of my divorce case by Katelynn Johnson. I entrusted her with one of the most vulnerable times of my life, believing she would shield me from future complications. Instead, her negligent approach has left me grappling with severe, avoidable issues.

From the start, Katelynn Johnson demonstrated an alarming lack of competence. Her failure to clearly explain the potential outcomes left me completely in the dark about the consequences of my decisions. Despite hiring her specifically to protect my interests, she failed to devote the necessary time to properly inform me of the critical details of my case.

What makes this situation even more infuriating is that I had already agreed to cover the house loan, yet I am now burdened with unexpected tax liabilities—a glaring error that undermines the very purpose of legal representation. Her emails were ambiguous and unhelpful, only intensifying my frustration, and it took an unacceptable seven months for her to respond. When she finally did, her advice was nothing more than a dismissive reiteration of our original negotiation, completely ignoring my genuine concerns.

I feel completely betrayed by the lack of diligence and care that was promised when I hired her. My trust has been shattered, and I am left with unresolved issues and significant financial consequences.
