I had the opportunity to work with both attorneys before they opened their own firm, so when I needed assistance with my own civil harassment restraining order matter, I felt comfortable turning to Aaron Kaslan for guidance. Aaron was incredibly helpful throughout the process, particularly in helping me obtain the necessary subpoenas and organize the evidence. Much of that evidence ultimately proved valuable not only in the restraining order proceedings, but also in the related criminal case. One thing I especially appreciate about Aaron is that he will always give you a straightforward assessment of your case. When he tells you that “less is more,” believe him. As someone who works in the legal industry myself, I probably should have taken that advice more often. It is very different when you are personally involved in your own case, and it is easy to become overwhelmed by the details or feel that everything needs to be presented. Aaron and his team have a calm, confident, and professional demeanor that is particularly valuable during an already stressful legal process. Family court is honestly one of the most emotionally draining things I’ve ever witnessed someone go through, and being closely involved in the process gave me a whole new respect for family law attorneys.
