Barnett Kalikow abandon me after two years of working with me!

I strongly advise against hiring Barnett Kalikow as your attorney. My experience with him was a complete nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from making the same mistake.
Barnett represented me in multiple legal matters, including cases involving South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC), UPS, and Catholic Housing Services (CHS). Instead of advocating for me, he repeatedly failed to fulfill his obligations. He promised to file complaints with the Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC) for these cases but intentionally delayed action until critical deadlines passed. This negligence left me without any recourse and irreparably harmed my ability to seek justice.
What's worse is that Barnett seemed to take advantage of my disability (Tourette Syndrome) rather than support me. He assigned me unnecessary tasks that overwhelmed me and worsened my symptoms, all while collecting payments from me every month. Despite paying him between $50 and $100 monthly for over a year, he failed to deliver results or even provide receipts for my payments until I repeatedly asked for them.
In one particularly egregious instance, Barnett abruptly quit representing me after receiving pushback from CHS regarding my accommodation requests. Instead of standing up for me or finding alternative solutions, he blamed me for being "demanding" and left me without representation during a critical time. This unprofessional behavior was devastating and left me scrambling to handle the situation on my own.
Barnett's handling of my case with SPSCC was equally troubling. He promised to advocate for specialized Tourette Syndrome training for faculty but failed to follow through on his commitments. His communication with SPSCC administrators was inconsistent and ineffective, often apologizing for his tone while failing to push for meaningful action.
Overall, Barnett Kalikow's behavior demonstrates a clear pattern of neglect, manipulation, and exploitation. He failed to act in my best interests at every turn, collected payments without delivering results, and abandoned me when I needed him most.
