Based on what I have personally witnessed and the experience my family has had, I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Jolei Shipley.

Communication has been consistently poor—not just from the attorney, but across the entire office. Calls, emails, and messages often go unanswered, leaving clients without updates during critical moments in their case.

In our situation, there was a clear lack of transparency and organization. Important meetings were not properly communicated, and conflicting information was given, creating unnecessary stress and confusion during an already difficult time.

I also encourage anyone considering this firm to take the time to read through all reviews carefully. There appears to be a consistent pattern of similar concerns raised by others, particularly regarding communication and client support.

Legal representation during a divorce—especially with children involved—is too important to risk feeling unheard or unsupported. Unfortunately, that has been our experience.

I would strongly urge others to do their research, ask detailed questions upfront, and consider all options before moving forward.

Jokie as is an abhorrent attorney. I never hired her, because I know her work ethic. She was hired by someone I am related to through marriage and dear Lord she did my SIL so wrong. Sold herself as a fighter and when she got the job she went quiet. ALL she did was show up for court. THAT’S IT. She did not fight for her client. She didn’t attempt to help. I can’t say enough about how this woman failed her client in a pretty straightforward case. One violated the decree of their divorce and she did nothing to stop it, prevent it from happening again or suggest a consequence for not adhering to the decree.
I come to look at her reviews and lo and behold, everything that I seen her fail at doing she did the same exact thing for quite a few others. If you’re looking for an attorney, read the reviews and DO NOT HIRE the attorney that people are saying won’t return calls, won’t keep their clients updated, shows little to no respect for the clients once she is hired. DEFINITELY DO GO TO THIS WOMAN. Especially if you’re desperate. I hope this woman loses her practice.
