If you have ever seen the movie or read the book, "The Lincoln Lawyer," then you will understand the similarities when hiring this law firm! My son has quite an extensive background. He caught some serious charges in Logan County. He was looking at 4-20 years (extended term). Due to the severity of the charges, they were non-probationable. My son was assigned an incompetent public defender. This guy was resolved to another prison sentence. After representing him for a couple of years, he hadn't even gone through his discovery. Which was ironic to me because he wanted my son to take the offer of 9 years at 50%. That's when I knew, we had to hire a paid attorney. After "shopping" around, this firm had the best reputation and was the most reasonable. I met with Kevin, who assured me he was going to fight for my son's life like no other. He was true to his word. One of the partners, Mark Johnson, ended up taking over his case. There were never any guarantees that my son was not going to prison (again). The entire time we were hoping for a reasonable offer of 4 years. Mark Johnson did what the public defender couldn't do in years, in a matter of months. He, in my opinion, is nothing short of a miracle worker. He's not just in it for the money. He secured an offer of probation, with the most serious charges being dismissed. He kept my family in tact. My son, as a result, will see his daughter's 2nd birthday. I highly recommend hiring this firm. And while words may never fully express my gratitude, hopefully this review does.
