Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Services and Disrespect Toward Military Clients

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal follow-up from one of the owners after my initial post. He reached out to offer a sincere apology regarding how my inquiry was handled. He kindly explained that he is a former military member himself and that the confusion stemmed from outdated or incorrect information listed on the Nebraska State Bar’s website. It was never their intention to turn anyone away unfairly, and he acknowledged that the referral provided was to a firm that unfortunately does not handle contractual disputes. I truly appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to make things right — it speaks highly of his character and the firm's commitment to integrity.

I am deeply disappointed with Johnson Flodman Guenzel & Wasserburger LLP in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their website proudly advertises services in contractual law, yet when I reached out for help regarding a clear contractual issue, they outright refused to assist. Even worse, as a military member, I expected at least a basic level of respect and consideration — instead, I was turned away without so much as a genuine explanation.

Their public image does not match their actual behavior. If you are a military member, veteran, or someone who needs legal help based on what their website claims they offer, do not waste your time here. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a firm publicly advertise expertise and support, but in reality, show selective interest and dismiss those who serve.

False advertising and dismissiveness toward service members is unacceptable — and it deserves to be called out.
