I reached out to John after reading all the positive online reviews, and can confirm they are all true. After reaching an impasse with our remodeling contractors over defective work and other issues, we hired John to help navigate the process, review/revise e-mail communications, negotiate, and potentially pursue litigation.

From start to finish, John was responsive, professional, empathic, up to date, and had a full grasp of the situation. While our case was less than $20k and not a flashy big case, my experience was that John treated it with the same importance as a million dollar case. We were advised about the risks/benefits at each stage and all possible outcomes in cases like ours so we could always make informed decisions on how to proceed. Admittedly, I had some unreasonable expectations of what "winning" our case would look like and John helped reframe that in a respectful way.

In the end, we were able to reach a settlement without litigation, but it was clear that John is a skilled and passionate litigator, so we also felt very confident pursuing that if needed. Never reaching out to or hiring an attorney before, it was hard to know what to expect, but we could not have asked for a better experience.

I hired John to help advise me on a landscaping dispute with a neighbor after a poor experience with another lawyer. John absolutely exceeded my expectations. He was timely, extremely professional, organized, and carefully outlined all of the aspects I should consider.

He was good at listening and grasping a complication situation, and did all of this during our first 1 hour meeting.

The time he spent after the freebie hour was very responsibly spent, and he certainly justified his rate. I'm very pleased that I was able to get an appointment with John.
