I'm writing this review, because recently, I had the good fortune of being represented by Jason Horton, on a serious criminal matter in Bowie County, Texas. Jason came very highly recommended by those who referred me to him, and even before my case was resolved, the reasons were obvious. Jason is a highly skilled, talented, and very well experienced Criminal Defense Attorney. He is smart, dilligent, professional, and he truly cares about his clients. He displays full awareness, empathy, and respect for what they are enduring. He also does a great job of encouraging his clients not to let their situation worry them too much, or get the best of them, as he handles their case with the utmost effort and care. For my family and I, that in itself was a great help, and kept us optimistic. Jason is a family man himself, and he knows exactly what's at stake in a criminal case, not just for his clients, but for their families as well. He is well known, highly respected, and well liked by his colleagues...regardless of which role they serve in the Courtroom. The reasons for that are clear as well. He's not just a great Attorney, he's a great individual, with a very positive attitude and pleasant disposition, making him easy to work with. I found him very likable, completely trustworthy, and he's great at maintaining good communication with his clients. He answers their questions clearly, and keeps them well informed during the entire legal process. He isn't the type of Attorney who fails to return his client's phonecalls or emails in a timely manner, as they sit by and worry. Meanwhile, Jason is always doing everything in his power, to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients, which is exactly what he did for me. If you find yourself accused of or charged with a crime in Bowie County, Texas, Jason should absolutely be first on your list, when it comes to choosing which Attorney to seek legal advice or representation from. He is also licensed to practice Law in the State of Arkansas, so it doesn't matter which side of the state line your criminal matter resides on, Jason can and will provide you with the best possible representation and results. One additional fact that became apparent to me, from speaking to individuals in similar circumstances, is that there are a number of them, who wish they would've had Jason Horton as their Defense Attorney. He is very comfortable in the courtroom, where his skills, professionalism, and strong presence are on full display. This is where I, as one of his clients, truly began to fully appreciate having him on my side. I'm extremely fortunate to have been represented by Jason, and he was a pleasure to work with, despite the circumstances. I would absolutely choose him again, without hesitation. I also want to mention Jason's Legal Assistant, Teresa Hopper. Teresa works tirelessly and earnestly, helping manage Jason's case load. She keeps his clients up to date, fully informed, and makes absolutely certain that the line of communication between Jason and his clients is always open.
