This happened several years ago, but it's overdue.

The lawyer and his assistant had an attitude problem on the phone and in person the few times we spoke. Made us drive all the way from north Merritt Island to BFE Melbourne just to have our "consultation" and not once, but twice. Something that can easily be done over the phone or virtually. But ok, let's see how things go.

It went horribly from the start with the weird gestures, random roid rage like yelling getting angry and loud multiple times, several condescending remarks, and unprofessional demeanor no matter how softly or politely I responded trying to rationalize with a grown man who is supposed to be my lawyer lol and yes we paid a retainer, money we might as well set on fire as it did nothing for us to hire this man for his alleged services.

Even more surprising is how his assistant had to step in the room during our appointment a few times to calm him down like a child when speaking to me...raising his voice for no reason to a paying client is very unprofessional. She even had to motion her hands while speaking to him as if she were calming a toddler from a horrible tantrum in front of company.

Someone old enough to be a grandfather shouldn't need to be reminded of basic decorum, I'm sure there's a reason why he only has a handful of reviews on here to even out his review average. I wonder if a male had accompanied me he would have been so rude as he was. I thought it would be ok to have my fiance and young son wait in the car. Nope.

If you ever consider meeting with this guy or any other lawyer, bring witnesses or record the meeting. Sure wish I did.

All he did was lash out at me like a man baby for not taking his childish verbal abuse and steal our money. I got more accomplished handling the matter myself with the other party vs whatever he claims he did. Probably nothing.

Save yourself the money and headache, go to another law firm or try settling the matter yourself. Also, be mindful that someone who's been a lawyer for 40 or more years should definitely have more reviews. Most of them seem deleted when I looked at Google reviews.

Only 27 reviews? After 40+ years as an attorney? Do the math. They're deleting all of the bad ones so he can brush it all under the rug in hopes of stealing more money from potential clients. Please do your research.

Hopefully he's in therapy by now, good grief.

Mr Torres is great in doing well with his grandchildren and daughter in another state. I went to look for him in his old location and he was not there. A true tragedy he was a wonderful attorney and a great man

I was referred to Mr Torres by my real estate attorney Jon Lack. I have tried calling but cannot get past the secretary. She doesn’t seem very nice.
Mr Lack speaks very highly of you Mr Torres.
