I hired attorney Ivo Tchernev to represent me in an important case. For 15 months, we paid him significant amounts of money while he kept assuring us that everything was going well, without real explanations and without a clear strategy.

After 15 months, he simply sent me a text message saying he was withdrawing from the case because his father had health issues. No meeting. No proper conversation. No plan for how the case would continue. A text message.

When I asked why his partner or the firm could not take over the case, there was no meaningful answer. He simply walked away and left us in an extremely difficult position.

After that, 7 law firms refused to take the case because, according to them, it had been brought almost to a dead end due to the wrong strategy chosen by Ivo Tchernev.

To me, this was a complete failure of professionalism and responsibility. Taking money for 15 months and then abandoning a client by text message is unacceptable.

I do not recommend this law firm. Stay far away.
