He screwed me over royally. He robbed me for $1000 and did absolutely nothing. Lied about everything. He's a horrible lawyer and he does not give a shit about you. Take your issues and money somewhere else. You will be let d9wn and robbed by this no good lawyer. Do as you wish if you do go with this guy I hope he does better by you. Oh yeah I'm a single mom thats been abused for 17 years by the bastard that this lawyer prolonged my marriage with by stealing my $1000 dollars that I had to borrow due to the situation that i'm in. Him taking that $1000 and doing absolutely nothing. Just made my life so much harder for 2 years. And I just got my final divorce date. I'm trying to save someone the same financial difficulties. And just let down altogether, by sharing my experience with such a horrible lawyer. And human being.

Would give zero stars if I could. Spoke to James over phone about my husband adopting my son. This was in May. He gave me a play by play of what to expect how long it would take etc. I was sent some forms to fill out online and did them right away. A week went by and I heard nothing. Followed up with an email weeks later and still nothing from him. About a month later sent another email and my husband did as well and still nothing. Called his office last week this is now going into August, was told he would call us and still nothing. Completely ghosted us with no explanation. Would not recommended.

Jim was great to work with. He was patient, understanding, and made every step of the process easy to understand. I won’t to hesitate to reach out to Hortsman & Campanelli again!
