It's unfortunate that I needed Horton - Mendez and there team. They started by handling my workers comp case. They handled all the red tape so I could focus on getting better. Then took care of the lawsuit part of my case. Which ended in a better than expected results.

3 weeks ago, I entered an Amazon Teacher Wishlist Giveaway by Horton & Mendez Injury Attorneys. This was a giveaway where teachers like me could enter in and share with another teacher about this giveaway. On Friday July 31st, Mrs. Whitaker had announced on Facebook with a video that I had won the giveaway sponsored by Horton & Mendez. I was BEYOND Thrilled and Grateful!!! I cried and explained to Mrs. Whitaker that in all of 18 years of teaching, this is the first time that I did not have to reach in my pocket or reach out for help from my family and friends to purchase supplies for my classroom. I teach at a Title One School in a low-income area and about 75% of students' families cannot afford school supplies. As a teacher the last thing I want is my students feeling embarrassed about not having classroom supplies. This economy has changed drastically, and we are affected by the circumstances. Horton & Mendez have really blessed my students and families and just for their parents to come in during our school open house in two weeks and to see classroom supplies provided for their children for the entire school year. Horton & Mendez, Injury & Car Accident Attorneys, reached out to get my information, my address on where to send our supplies. Today I found out ALL of our supplies will be shipped before Monday, August 10th, which will give me enough time to set our classroom for open house and the first day of school.
