In mid 2025 I retained Sarah Hewitt from the firm Henson Efron to represent me in the dissolution of my second long term Marriage. Having been through one divorce already I knew what I needed. My standards were high. Sarah was highly recommended to me by my estate planning attorney and proved to be even better than she was portrayed. Sarah exceeded my expectations from the start and I could not have been happier with her and everything she did. As I expected, Sarah is very knowledgeable about the law and legal procedures particularly family law. She knows what she is doing. She is also very experienced which quickly added to my respect for her from the start of our association. She also commanded respect from my now ex wife and her attorney. She refused to be either bullied or ignored. I was constantly reassured by how able she is and how effectively she performed. There was never a time that she did not know what to do or did anything in the wrong way. Sarah is indeed very smart. Furthermore, she was a joy to work with. The way she worked with me was always warmly professional. She is articulate, quick to accurately assess situations and freely made suggestions when I asked for them. When hard issues arose as I guess they usually do in a divorce she was supportive, calm and kept the situation under control. She kept things moving forward even when her counterpart did not. Her positivity always set a tone that eased tensions which led to much better outcomes and more nights of sound sleep. Her guidance was always timely and correct. The way she anticipated potential issues made me confident that I was represented by the best. She is responsive and prompt. She was always there when I needed her. I trusted her completely and she never let me down. A bonus that came with Sarah was the support staff at Henson Efron. In particular I want to thank Nina and Michelle for their tireless efforts on my behalf and for their persistent good will towards me. They took the initiave to reach out to me when they found something I needed to know or do. Despite their heavy work loads their performance with my case was flawless. I'm sure there were other staff members that helped out, I just did not have contact beyond Nina and Michelle. I thank everyone at Henson Efron for working hand in glove with Sarah to dissolve my marriage. Their hard work and great attitudes in roles that are not very visible to clients made a hugh difference in my case. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. Finally, I cannot thank Sarah Hewitt enough to even come close to matching how much she did for me. If you are looking for a great attorney with a fine mind and a good heart give Sarah a call. I'm sure you will be impressed and she will not let you down. I recommend her without reservation or qualification. Although divorce is usually not a happy time I will always remember my association with Sarah and Henson Efron as a very bright period in my life.
