My husband paid them almost $9k, even though his debt was only $8k and they are still taking him to court over some random $400 they pulled out their behind. ??? The issue was over EIGHT years ago and had been paid in full. Money hungry & come after you for $ when you don’t even owe them anymore. Just find any excuse to try to get a buck.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience

I had a very upsetting interaction with Kelly, a legal aid assistant at this office. When I reached out to better understand the office’s legal processes and connections, I was met with responses that felt dismissive, disrespectful, and unnecessarily rude. Instead of offering clarity or support, Kelly’s remarks came across as dehumanizing and combative, which is the last thing anyone deserves—especially when seeking help during stressful legal situations.

Everyone deserves to be treated with basic dignity and patience, particularly in a legal aid setting. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I hope the office addresses this internally so others don’t have to feel the way I did.

I left a voice mail with the attorney Ryan, and I will send a formal complaint via email, and on top of that will follow up with Purdue University. I can’t believe purdue university is working with a law office that will treat students like this! Unacceptable and from the looks of other reviews this is a common experience.
