ZERO STARS Ari Sommer is arrogant and dismissive to the client. I hired him to file a partition suit in May. He said it would be quick and easy, probably within 90 days. It's now October. I called and left 3 messages for them to call me back. The assistant called me to arrange a call with Mr. Sommer. At this point they must have said oh $#!t and got to work. A week later, on the phone, I asked Mr. Sommer why it's taking so long and he said "staffing issues." Not my problem. I asked for a refund. He said they had done 8 hours of work on my case. I had someone pick up the check, but there was no invoice for the 8 hours. I called and asked for the invoice. I got a snarky email from Mr. Sommer with the attached invoice. They charged me 3 hours for researching Virginia partition law!! That's like your mechanic charging you 3 hours to YouTube how to fix your car! Wasted my money and 5 months of my time.

I would give negative stars if I could. Devon Humphries and her paralegal(s) were nothing but sneaky and lied. Devon caused me to have a compel order as well as a sanction order against me. In which she never notified me of. I had to find out from a invoice the office sent me and from the courthouse while trying to get a copy of a document. When trying to contact them I got excuses and sometimes no response for weeks. She cost me 35k plus. When tried to contact the said head of office to speak with them about the issues happening he didn’t even contact me but went straight to her and within the hour she emailed me a order to withdraw as my attorney. She couldn’t even talk with me. I constantly had to ask for updates on my case and to get OC evidence and never got them until months later. Devon’s bio on the law firm website says it all she “loves to bedrot”. I had to get another attorney somewhere else 3 weeks before my trial. This office is so money hungry and doesn’t care about their clients. DONT EVER USE THEM. They almost cost me my trial.

In Feb. of 2026 I talked to Attorney Craig about a matter with our neighbor concerning a needed survey. I was told to have the survey done then we would talk about it. Had the survey done but neighbor is not satisfied with it. Went to the office the 2nd week of July and the girl at the desk said she would give him the message. 2 weeks went by. Made another trip to the office the last week of July. Girl out front looked it up and he was given the message. Waited another week no call. I have wasted 3 weeks waiting for a call. If Mr. Craig wasn't interested, fine. I thought I should have at least I should have been given a phone call . He could have at least have told one of the ladies out front to call me. This review is not for the entire office, just Mr. Craig. I have wasted 3 weeks. No way to run a business.

I contacted them because I wanted to work with their firm. After learning that the other party in my case is represented by another attorney, they called me back and said they had a conflict of interest and could not represent me. I politely asked them to explain the conflict, but they refused to provide any reason or clarification. It was frustrating to be turned away without any explanation. Better communication and transparency would have made this experience much more professional. Stay away from this company

Every staff member has been nothing but warm and welcoming. And Charles Billman fought for me and my children above and beyond. Highly recommend
