I reached out to them with some questions about Hague service on a defendant in China. We had previously hired a service provider but wanted a second opinion on the process. Our real estate lawyers were not too familiar with serving overseas defendants and Dan Harris took the time to explain what was likely happening, what I should expect, the timeline, and what made sense to do next. He was very honest and told me that I did not need to hire his firm yet given our situation, and should give the process more time. I really appreciated how detailed and timely he gave me his responses. I would not hesitate to contact Harris Sliwoski again for China legal assistance.

When my father died he had a couple of properties in the Philippines and hiring a lawyer to help with the estate proved harder than anticipated. I decided to reach out to Harris Sliwoski in hopes of having someone with experience in international law act as a liaison for lawyers in the Philippines.
