I chose Richard Fisher at Hanna & Fisher because of their outstanding reputation in Henry County. After working with them through a very complex probate matter, I can confidently say that reputation is well-deserved.

When I was tasked with serving as executor of my parents’ estates, I was quickly overwhelmed with the extensive documentation, detailed research, and numerous legal tasks in the probate process that required precise handling—not to mention the complicated emotions of family dynamics.

Fortunately, Richard’s expertise in estate administration and knowledge of probate law are exceptional. He managed the entire process meticulously to ensure everything was handled correctly and in accordance with Ohio law, which alleviated a lot of my anxiety about administering to the estates.

Conveniently, much of our work together was handled remotely because Richard and his paralegal, Casandra, are professional, organized, and very responsive. The entire office staff truly goes above and beyond to keep the complicated process moving forward during what can easily be a daunting experience for anyone.

I initially contacted the firm regarding legal advice for my mother’s estate and was informed by the receptionist that the initial consultation would be complimentary. However, I was later billed over $200 for that meeting, which was unexpected based on the information provided.

During my consultation, I felt that Mr. Fisher appeared distracted, as he frequently checked his watch throughout the meeting. Subsequently, he agreed to represent my estranged sister in the same matter. From my perspective, this presented what I believe to be a potential conflict of interest.

In addition, responses to my attorney were significantly delayed, which prolonged the process. Communication often seemed slow, and scheduling was further impacted by extended vacations, requiring adjustments on our end.

Based on my experience, I would not choose this firm. It is also my perception that in this county, there is a tendency to favor established local counsel. I would give 0 stars if it let me.

We stopped in for legal advice and we had such a great time talking about coaching girls softball!! Mr. Fisher is the absolute best!! We did discuss our legal issue and went great
