				Just called to inquire about being a possible client due to issues with an employer. The girl that answered the phone was extremely fast talking as if she wanted to hurry off the phone. I expressed what I was wanted to talk to the firm about, and was immediately told to go to their website. Once I stated “ok. That was a fast response” she hung up on me….

				You call to see if you have a case or to see about a consultation.  The secretary quickly tells you that you must use their intake form on their website then hangs up abruptly. You go to the form and their not taking any consult intake calls this month, you click on next month and not taking any there either.  It seems like this company has so many cases they don't want anymore. It says a consult call is only 15 minutes.  There's a whole mess of 15 minutes in a 8 hour day and in a 2 month span.

				I called to ask what I needed to do in for a complaint. I specified I wasn’t sure if I should refile or add an addendum with a notice of addendum. I just had the one legal question and I was advised that they wouldn’t be able to provide this advice. Seriously?! If you wanted a client this is a good way to deter a future client.



Update: I called several other firms that willingly provided advice general in nature. Why general advice  wasn’t doable for this firm on very basic court procedures that any lawyer would know is beyond me.



There is nothing unique about Federal Rules of Procedure or Local Civil Rules; all cases follow these rules.

				Our daughter's case was an employment termination settlement. Mr. Hammons doubled the settlement offer. Case was handled quickly, professionally and fair.
