I hired Suzanne Wagner as my divorce attorney as her name came to me by a trusted referral. I should have met with more than one person prior to moving forward with Suzanne…so shame on me for not doing my due diligence. Shame on Suzanne for taking advantage of me and my case trying to drag it out and complicate it when it didn’t need to be.

We were an uncontested divorce and agreed on all terms the entire time. Both my ex and myself had open communication with Suzanne and Haller and Colvin team in response to their requests. The problem is their assumptions of what was needed vs what was told. I can’t provide information if I have not been informed to do so or by when and what this applies to. I believe lack of communication is intentional on their behalf again for the sake of dragging things out and extending billing. Every email to read and send a response is a charge.

My best advice to anyone looking for help if there is any chance you are an uncontested divorce do a little research/reading save yourself a lot of time, headaches and money and efile yourself. Even if you aren’t uncontested I still would highly recommend considering someone else…a divorce alone is stressful enough if the right attorney can take something off your plate as that is their profession then find someone who is willing to do just that.

It was through my own research to gain knowledge, present that knowledge to Suzanne just to keep my case moving forward. I’m not saying she is a terrible attorney but unfortunately she did a poor job in handling my case. My referral did not have this same experience.

My other biggest warning for anyone mediation is not a requirement especially if you agree on terms. Something that felt pushed just to be billed and was even scheduled for a date and time after our final settlement hearing date by the court. Mediation was set up by Suzanne and her team at Haller and Colvin and was not court ordered…just stated who we would use if mediation was needed.

Worked with Attorney Travis Friend on a recent Allen County matter. Clear, responsive, and strategic. I plan to return for follow-up to generate a best case scenario to this case in the next 1.5 - 2 years. Very optimistic about this. Highly recommend.

Won’t recommend this firm to anyone! Overrated, Travis Friend over billed me for services and hours that they were not performed, they use collections agencies against their clients. Very bad experience with Travis Friend.
