Three times I reached out to them. Three times I was left out in the cold. The first time I spoke with the receptionist and explained my situation. She stated she would inquire what type of attorney would best to meet my needs. She never called me back. When I followed up, she advised me the firm did not have an attorney that could help me. I expressed my disbelief to a friend that such a large firm couldn't help me. My friend gave me the name of a specific attorney, I called the them and left a message stating who referred me, but they never called me back. I was provided with the name of another attorney by someone else, and reached out to them. This time I got to speak to them. They said I had case, and were willing to take me on. After that initial conversation, I never heard back from them. I called their paralegal and inquired what was happening. I never got a call back. Extremely disappointing.

After going through a lot in my divorce, I used these attorneys only to be gaslit and receive bad advice. In my consultation I expressed that I wanted to be able to pay my attorneys fees back and have some cushion for myself to start over. I was well within my rights to do so as my ex made over 3 times as much money as me. Lucy advised me to ask a for a number that I assumed would cover my fees and leave me with some room. However, when I got the bill for my fees what she advised me to ask for didn’t even cover her fees. She was ultimately super unempathetic, unapologetic, and unprofessional in her follow up call to me. Her only priority was putting all the blame on me- when I sought out professional help because I knew I didn’t have all the answers. On top of this my simple case took forever to complete. I wasn’t aware my attorney was going on maternity leave until she went on leave. Communication was more than lacking. Overall, if your case is simple I suggest to find someone cheaper or do it yourself.
