The issues people face in life are not always things they can handle alone, and many times they are not their fault. It is frustrating constantly reaching out for help, guidance, or legal assistance only to hit dead ends over and over again. I am a permanently disabled single mother living on Social Security with extremely limited income. I have contacted multiple organizations, from federal to local, and almost every road leads back to GBLA for “low-income legal help,” only to be told unless it involves someone over 65 or guardianship, there is little to no help available. The only advice I seem to receive is to “go to the library” and figure the legal system out alone because I cannot afford an attorney. Meanwhile, businesses and corporations have legal teams, money, and power behind them while regular people are left struggling to understand a system designed far beyond their reach. Organizations like GBLA are heavily advertised as resources for everyone, yet the restrictions make help practically unreachable for many people truly in need. That is not right.

They have a rude staff and have never been willing to help me with a lawsuit against kern county housing authority.

Absolutely useless. I was told there's a conflict of interest with their office and that was it! I'm 66 have a contract with Efren Gomez that he defaulted on May 1, 2025 to the tune of almost 100k...elder abuse, fraud and ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT AT ALL HERE!
