We (my husband and I) never thought in our lives, We would find ourselves In a position to pursue legal actions against somebody.
This firm deserves 10 stars in my opinion.
Here are the bullet points why:
- Ryan Koczara took the time to listen and understand my case. It was a tricky one as 13 years had passed and the statute of limitations was established. Before Ryan/Grant Shenon, we were refused by 3 other firms, but things happens for a reason. We ended up with the perfect attorneys for our case.
- Ryan has this posture that transmits trust, knowledge and confidence.
- Thomas Dreblow was Ryan’s associate in my case. He is extremely sharp, well spoken, quick and smart.
- Nicole Monroy is Ryan’s assistant and she is polite, organized and attentive to detail.
We could not have asked for a better team!
They were always available to jump on a call. If Ryan was busy out of the office, Tom would be there. We never felt unanswered and knew we could count on them at any possible moment.
It took almost a year to get to mediation and we were ready to bypass mediation and go straight to litigation, but they had my back!
They wisely guided us to make sure we took the appropriate path, which ultimately paid off.
Ryan and his team are not just great lawyers, but they are great people.

I hired Mr. Grant in the summer of 2024 to represent me in a complex arbitration matter involving contractual and fiduciary issues. Based on written assurances that this area of law was "absolutely in his wheelhouse," I relied on him for guidance and support during a critical stage of my case.

Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Despite mounting legal fees and repeated reminders that the opposing side would "bury me in legal fees," I received little strategic direction or proactive legal support. I ended up drafting much of the case strategy and legal analysis myself.

This wasn't just disappointing -- it was psychologically exhausting. I was already under intense pressure from the opposing party, and instead of receiving the legal advocacy I was promised, I felt like I was carrying the case alone. What I hoped would be a source of support became another obstacle I had to manage under extreme stress.

Time-sensitive materials were not shared with me before a pivotal mediation, despite multiple written requests. These communication breakdowns and lack of engagement had a significant negative impact on my case and contributed to disruptions in my professional work and financial stability.

I'm currently seeking recourse through appropriate channels, but I wanted to share my experience with others who may be considering this firm for legal support. I strongly recommend asking very direct questions about relevant experience, strategic approach, and expected deliverables -- and getting everything in writing.

I am so excited! I just had a sticky business lawsuit brought against me by a pretty unethical ex business partner and his equally deficient attorney dropped. Grant Shenon represented me as the defendant and they are definitely a top notch firm. Ryan Koczara was the attorney assigned to my case and it was a great experience. He has a great disposition and helped me navigate an emotionally upsetting and difficult situation.
