was referred to Richard A. West (The Law Office of Richard A. West, LLC) for help with a New Jersey Board of Nursing issue. After paying the retainer, he went radio silent for months—no updates, no plan, no progress. Only brief excuse about being "busy," then nothing. When I finally pushed for my money back, he agreed but hasn't refunded it and ignores me again. Wasted time and money. Disappointed and now taking steps to recover the retainer through legal channels. Not recommended.

I would not recommend this law firm based on my experience.

Received terrible counsel over a long and drawn out trial / settlement. Partner Goodgold is exceptional, but opted not to take the case personally as it was going to trial, and was given a sub par replacement. Had to speak on my own behalf at the mediation hearing as counsel was non existent. Poor, yet expensive summary judgment motion was denied. Received a somewhat fair settlement, but despite COUNTLESS reminders, not a word of penalties or protection for violation of the terms of the settlement were included, despite razor sharp language in agreement from the opposition. My adversary has already violated her agreement and if I had better attorneys who cared about their clients I would already have all of my money back. All they care about is sending you to collections for their overpriced, overrated services. Will never use them again and I urge you to consider the same.
