Brittany Carper is very unethical. She was the attorney for the opposing party (custody case) and the attorney for my son’s school, Fredericksburg Christian School. She hid this from me until I got another attorney. My attorney called her out on it and she stepped down from the case. She also had me BANNED from FCS all because I was trying to get my son’s records at the advice of my attorney. We were treated horribly at the lower school due to Brittany Carper. She either stepped down from FCS or got fired. I’m not sure which. The only reason I am aware of this is because FCS called MY attorney asking HIM to represent THEM! He never called them back after speaking to the head person there. It wasn’t the principal. The person he spoke to said “They heard he was a great attorney from someone at the school and would like him to represent the school.” Brittany Carper also lies in Court. A LOT. She said things weren’t done, such as Discovery, when we had the proof it clearly was. She covered up records with post it notes then made copies and brought them to Court and played it off as the “original records.” There is so much more that I’ve heard about this woman it blows my mind. She has gotten in trouble not once, but twice with one particular Judge. He sanctioned her, twice. For those who don’t know what sanctions are it’s a penalty or fine ordered by the Judge because a lawyer wasted the Court’s time, broke procedural rules, or filed frivolous dishonest paperwork. This is Brittany Carper to a T. She does NOT honor the law or justice. I always wondered if she would trust her own client with her own children. Since I didn’t get to see my child for 51 days with a Court Order in place saying I was allowed to see my child! The opposing party refused to let me see our son due to Brittany Carper. She tells her clients to go against Court Orders among other things and her clients end up suffering and literally having to pay the price. I wonder if she would allow the opposing party to babysit HER children during all that toxicity and chaos (officers involved. MULTIPLE times. I won’t bring all that up though.) I wonder as a Mother how she, a Mother as well would feel without seeing her children for 51 days STRAIGHT except maybe through FaceTime. Then seeing my son cry and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it is a heartache I can’t even begin to explain. She has a cork board in her office when you first walk in with all these kids school pictures, kids with their families etc. She uses those pictures as her trophies in my opinion. That cork board must be her “trophy wins”. My son was right in the middle. I found that extremely disturbing. Attorneys take an Oath. Maybe Virginia Code 54.1-3903 didn’t mean a thing to her when she became an attorney but that’s just my opinion.

We are sincerely grateful to Mrs. Carper, Mrs. Morgan, and the entire staff for the care and professionalism they showed us throughout our experience. From start to finish, they treated us with respect, compassion, and genuine concern.

The reason why our legal system is broken is becuase anytime someone points out that someone is doing somehting wrong, it's written off as "they are just mad becuase they lost".

I changed my review becuase Ms. Dillon threatened legal action against for speaking the truth about her actions.

I do not believe Ms. Dillon care about anything or anyone but herself, and she only made the recommendations she did to justify dragging out a 3 year long case.

My daughter is worse off for having Ms. Dillon as a GAL, and she is the exact reason why no believes attorneys care about anyone but themselves.
